As part of our role in the development of Maui’s Cilantro Fresh Mexican
Grill experience, we designed a collection of packaging to help the
restauranteur economize — and increase his per-ticket sales.
Mindful of budget, the packaging system makes use of simple dies, stickers, and belly bands. This color-coded system of illustrated labels helps staff and customers easily identify various flavors of paper-wrapped tacos and burritos.
This party-sized Fiesta Pack uses off-the-shelf components dressed up with a belly band and sticker.
Thanks to copywriter Robert Whitlock, this chicken clamshell promises "one hot, juicy mother clucker."
Two-color stickers allow Cilantro staff to package freshly made tortillas right in the store.
Standard packages with adhesive labels offer more options for the reach-in.
A branded family of to-go packages (left) help spread the identity around the local area. A family of dry rubs and seasonings further the brand presence in grocery and souvenir shops around Maui.
