On Texas’ Gulf Coast, a Houston developer planned a resort community for boomers and second-home investors. We created the identity, a brochure and website to support investor relations and sales.
The hand-drawn logotype for Deseo ("Desire," in Spanish) was inspired by elegantly curved Mexican ironwork, and has an intentionally feminine feel. A supporting palette of patterns and graphic details round out the identity package.
A marketing and sales brochure showcases Deseo's location with gorgeous photography of Mustang Island by Laurence Parent.
The brochure's opening copy, by Teresa Elliott, is warm and romantic, painting a picture of an idyllic retreat for empty-nesters and second-home buyers.
Still in the planning phases, watercolor architectural renderings depict the vision of the project.
Stock-photography was utilized to depict the wide variety of activities available in the area.
More photography by Laurence Parent, with a dreamy quote from Proust.
The website home page is part Flash, part html, and detailed with brand patterns and graphics.
A visual tour of the area was compiled by photographer Wyatt McSpadden.
Visitors can view floor plans for any of the structures.
